Teen flown to hospital following Christian County shooting

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKDZ) – A teen is reportedly injured after shots were fired into a home in Hopkinsville Friday morning.

According to WKDZ, the shooting occurred on Hermitage Drive Friday just after 2 a.m.

Hopkinsville police say several shots were fired from the road into the home, striking a 15-year-old that was present inside the residence.

The teen was hit in the arm and transported by Hopkinsville EMS before later being flown to a Nashville hospital.

Several other individuals were inside of the home at the time but were not injured.
