Teen dies following rollover collision in Muhlenberg County
MADISONVILLE, Ky. – A 19-year-old has died after a rollover crash in Muhlenberg County.
According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers in Madisonville responded for a collision that occurred on Oct. 13 in Muhlenberg County.
Authorities say around 7:03 p.m. that night, Muhlenberg County Dispatch contacted troopers requesting assistance for the crash near the 8-mile marker on U.S. 62 in Greenville.
Troopers say a preliminary investigation found 19-year-old Nicholas brown of Central City was driving a sedan when he exited the roadway and overturned multiple times before being ejected from the vehicle.
Brown was flown to a nearby hospital.
On Oct. 20, Brown died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center due to his injuries sustained in the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing.
