Taste of Bowling Green returns to benefit Dream Factory
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s one of the most popular events in Bowling Green, and it made a return Thursday for yet another year of food and fun.
The Taste of Bowling Green features different restaurants from around the community offering samples of some of their menu items.
From popular spots like Rafferty’s and Roosters to smaller places like Groovy Gus Donut Bus and Scoops of Joy, there was truly something for everyone.
It even drew the attention of the national CEO of the Dream Factory, the organization benefiting from the fundraising. He tells us he’s been impressed with what the local chapter has done, and that events like these are so important.
“Events, fundraisers… that’s what allows us to do what we do. Without these events, without these supporters, we couldn’t do what we do. We need the dream families, but we also need the volunteers, and we need the supporters, and we need events, and we need all those things to come together in order to grant as many dreams as possible,” Tommie Kendall says.
He also added the last time he came to the Taste of Bowling Green was back in 2019, and while they’re not on that same level of attendees yet, he’s glad to see larger and larger crowds each year.
