Tamiflu Shortage in Parts of Kentucky

As concern over the flu rises across the country, parts of Kentucky are experiencing another frightening situation – a Tamiflu shortage.

Officials with the Northern Kentucky Health Department say there have been more than 1300 reported cases of the flu recently.

Now, some pharmacies are running out of the treatment – specifically the child safe liquid.

They say this medicine can be life saving, as it can help ease symptoms before they get too severe.
