T.J. Regional Health seeking PPE donations from public
GLASGOW, Ky.- T.J. Regional Health is seeking donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) from the public.
In a Thursday Facebook post, the healthcare provider said it currently has an adequate supply of masks for patients and staff, but there could be a shortage within the next few days or weeks due to supplies being on backorder.
One item in particular the provider is in need of are washable bonnets. The bonnets are reusable and allow healthcare workers to keep their hair clean and free of droplets.
The provider is working with Glasgow-Barren County Emergency Management to coordinate a drop off of hand-sewn masks and bonnets.
Groups and individuals who are donating these items can schedule drop off with Tracy Shirley, Director of Glasgow-Barren County Emergency Management, by calling or texting 270-576-3768.
