T.J. Regional Health offer free flu shots and skin cancer screenings
GLASGOW, Ky. – Saturday, T.J. Regional Health will host a drive through flu-vaccine clinic from 8:00 a.m-11:00 a.m at the main pavilion.
Also at that time, people can also walk inside the main entrance to the free skin spot check cancer clinic.
The flu shot is not a requirement for the free skin cancer screening.
Rain or shine, the hospital will give these free shots and skin checks, and pre-registration is not required.
T.J. Regional Health executive vice president Stacey Biggs said, “Everybody is so focused on Covid right now, which is certainly very important, but it’s also very important to remember that we do still have the flu vaccine… now is the perfect time to get a flu vaccination.”
Biggs said that she hopes this clinic is the first of many. There is no wait time needed between a flu shot and Covid booster, according to Biggs, so those who recently got their booster shots are safe to come on Saturday.
