Suspect in multiple cases apprehended in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A wanted man who was a suspect in several cases has been arrested in Bowling Green.
The Bowling Green Police Department says it was notified on Monday by asset protection at a local retail store of a subject believed to be Ramo Mujic, 30, of Bowling Green.
Police say Mujic was wanted on several felony warrants and was a suspect in multiple cases, including burglary, automobile theft and mail theft investigated by the Bowling Green Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say they approached Mujic, and he was taken into custody after a brief encounter.
As a result of the arrest and ongoing investigations, additional charges have been filed.
Mujic is charged with theft over $10,000 (automobile), theft over $10,000 (tools), third-degree burglary, theft of mail, tampering with physical evidence, first-degree criminal mischief, possession of methamphetamine, giving an officer a false name and resisting arrest.
The Bowling Green Police Department stated it appreciates the cooperation of retail stores in the community and the assistance of the WCSO.
This case remains under investigation.
