Sunrise Spotlight: Safe Seats, Safe Kids
On today’s edition of Sunrise Spotlight, News 40’s Ashlee Wilson sits down with Christina Vickery, a Certified Car Seat Technician with Community Education. She told us all about their new Safe Seats, Safe Kids program, aimed at keeping your kids safe while in the car.
According to Buckle Up for Life, only 1 out of 4 child car seats are properly installed in the U.S. That means 75% of child safety seats are improperly installed. Community Education says that “Safe Seats, Safe Kids” will operate as an interactive educational program designed to empower caregivers with the skills to install their children’s car seats.
