Sunrise Spotlight: 5th Annual Family & Friends Unity Day

On today’s Sunrise Spotlight, News 40’s Michael Ridgeway sat down with LeMegan Shelton, the Director of Operations for the BG Freedom Walkers. She told us all about their 5th Annual Family & Friends Unity Day.

Here’s what you need to know about the event:

  • When: On Saturday, September 14th from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
  • Where: At the Parker Bennett Curry Basketball Courts
  • What: A day to celebrate with all of your family and friends and to spread unity within the City of Bowling Green.
    • There will be Black Owned Businesses & Small Owned Businesses set up you can support & shop with
    • Community agencies & nonprofit organization booths
    • Free food & drinks, live DJ & games for all.
