Sunrise Spotlight: 2nd Annual Raising Hope Farmer’s Appreciation Day

On today’s Sunrise Spotlight, News 40’s Ashlee Wilson sits down with the Gott Fire Department’s Chief Jason Duckett. He told us all about how we can support our local farmers in the 2nd Annual Raising Hope Farmer’s Appreciation Day.

 

Here’s what you need to know about the event:

  • When: Wednesday, September 18th From 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
  • Where: WKU LD Brown Ag Expo Center
  • What: Awards presentation, free health screenings, educational safety, health and rescue booths, agricultural career fair
    • Free burgers, hotdogs, and ice cream until gone.
  • Why: Come out for a day of supporting and honoring Kentucky farmers!
  • No ticket prices or RSVP are needed, all are welcome.
