Stuff the Bus foundation delivers supplies for the Warren County Schools
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Halls of a certain Warren County school are filled with school supplies, just in time for students to start a new year.
Tuesday morning supplies from Stuff the Bus were delivered to Briarwood Elementary. Members of the Stuff the Bus Foundation along with district officials like Warren County Schools superintendent Rob Clayton came to help out.
The supplies went to Briarwood to act as a hub for delivery, since the supplies will be going to all Warren County schools. The goal of Stuff the Bus is to ensure that all students start on an even playing field when it comes to supplies.
Clayton says he’s very thankful for the support from the Stuff the Bus Foundation.
“It’s always exciting when we see the community come together and really rally on behalf of our students. I don’t think there’s any secret, we have a number of students that need additional support, and stuff the bus has become really an instrumental part of getting back to school,” Clayton said.
Wednesday is the big day for Warren County students, as they’ll return to the classrooms for the first day of school.
