Students get to see a new SKyPAC show
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Students from all over the Commonwealth had the chance to check out a new show at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green Thursday.
The show is called Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium. It’s an educational performance involving the use of giant puppets modeled after various prehistoric sea creatures.
SKyPAC offers school day matinees throughout the year, where an extra show is booked specifically for students.
SKyPAC volunteer ambassador Marilyn Wingfield says she loves seeing the kids come by.
“I love it when the kids come by, especially those who have never been here before. They go in and say, ‘whoa, it’s a real theater, a real one’” Wingfield said.
Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium will be available for the general public to watch at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
