Storm damage forces road closures in Todd County

TODD COUNTY, Ky – Drivers in Todd County are being urged to use caution after storm damage caused multiple road closures Thursday evening.

According to officials, two major routes are currently blocked following severe weather that moved through the area Thursday night.

U.S. 41 is closed between KY 848 in Trenton, and KY 181 in Guthrie due to downed power lines reported along the roadway.

At the same time, KY 181 is shut down between U.S. 41 and KY 848. Crews with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 have been sent to the area to address the damage.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area until conditions improve and roads are cleared.
