Stinson Steps Down as Glasgow Girls’ Head Coach
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The most successful head coach in Lady Scotties history is resigning.
After a full decade at the helm, Justin Stinson is stepping away from coaching to focus on a more administrative role with Glasgow High School.
Glasgow Athletic Director Craig Cassady made the announcement in a press release on Wednesday afternoon, and said, “I appreciate all that Coach Stinson and his family have given to Glasgow High School and Lady Scottie Basketball. A coach of his caliber will be greatly missed. I wish Coach Stinson the best in his future endeavors.”
Stinson racked up an overall record of 227-83 in his 10 seasons at the helm and led the Lady Scotties to a pair of Region 4 titles in 2012 and 2014, as well as the AII-A state championship in 2014.
