State police investigate fatal Clinton County collision

ALBANY, Ky. – Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal collision in Clinton County.
KSP says it responded to a two-vehicle injury collision on US 127 on Tuesday morning.
The initial investigation shows Andrew Ridge, 21 of Albany, was traveling south on US 127 in a truck. Ridge’s truck crossed into both northbound lanes and entered the northbound shoulder of the roadway.
Troopers say Ridge attempted to drive his truck back into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer, driven by Dylan Tuck, 26 of Albany. Tuck was traveling north on US 127.
The Clinton County Coroner’s Office declared Ridge dead at the scene.
Tuck sustained serious injuries and was flown to the University of Tennessee Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
