State police attempting to ID man killed on interstate Saturday night

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Oct. 24, Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green was requested to respond to a possible fatal collision in Warren County just before 7 p.m. The collision occurred near the 23 mile marker of Interstate 65 in Bowling Green.
Initial investigation indicated that Brandi Willis, 22, of Champaign, Ill. was operating a 2020 Kia passenger vehicle in the left lane of travel near the 23 mile marker of interstate 65 southbound. A pedestrian entered the roadway into the travel path of Willis’ vehicle and was struck, according to a release from KSP.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Warren County Coroners Office. The pedestrian has not been identified at this time and is described as a 5 feet, 6 inch man who weighed 130 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by Trooper Brent Davis. Trooper Davis was assisted on scene by the Alvaton Department, Warren County Coroner’s Office, Medical Center EMS and other KSP personnel.
