State charges dropped against UK student from Glasgow
LEXINGTON, Ky.- State charges have been dropped against a University of Kentucky student from Glasgow, whose accused of making a threat against the school on social media.
Haily Duvall, 19, was charged with terroristic threatening and falsely reporting an incident in Fayette County.
She is still facing federal charges, including making false statements and threatening communications.
Each charge carries up to a five- or 10-year prison sentence along with a $250,000 fine.
The threats, via Snapchat, prompted an alert on the Lexington campus on November 7.
Duvall was released from jail on Nov. 21 and ordered to stay off social media.
