Spring semester 2021 begins at Western Kentucky University

BOWLING GREEN Ky.- Once again, students are returning to Western Kentucky University for another semester.

As students return, they can expect the same safety guidelines to be in effect this semester, including masks, social distancing, and frequent use of sanitation stations on campus. Some students were giving out free breakfast snacks that morning.

Director of media relations Bob Skipper said this pandemic hasn’t had a negative impact on the overall GPA, as the average remained the same from fall of 2019 to fall of 2020. The retention rate is also running on track.

With students returning, parking and transportation officials emphasize to use caution when driving on or near campus.
