South Warren Football named to 14th Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions
Spartans named one of 50 best high school football teams in the entire country.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Following an undefeated 15-0 season capped off by a 20-16 win against Covington Catholic in the KHSAA Class 5A State Championship, the South Warren Spartans football team have been named to the 14th Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions.
The award recognizes the 50 best high school football teams in the country out of 17,000 competing varsity teams across the nation.
In order to be eligible for the honor, a team must be nationally ranked and win a state championship.
South Warren’s Class 5A title was the program’s second state championship, but first in this class after previously winning the Class 4A championship in 2015.
South Warren High School has announced that the team and their achievements from this past season will be recognized with the National Guard National Ranking Trophy presentation on Friday, January 25, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the school gymnasium.
