Some Taylor Fresh salad kits recalled for undeclared allergens

(CNN) – Salad kits sold in Kentucky are being recalled.

Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling one of its salad kits due to the potential of undeclared allergens.

The recall is only for the Taylor Farms honey balsamic salad kit.

The company says the salad dressing in the kit is actually the Asian sesame ginger dressing and not the honey balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

As a result, the dressing may include sesame and soy, which are two major allergens.

The kits were sold in 25 states, including Kentucky.

The best if used by date is up to and including Sept. 4.

The company says they have not received any reports of illnesses in connection to the product.

Consumers should throw away the kit and can get a refund at the store they purchased it from. To learn more, click here.
