Soky Sunrise wins best morning show at Kentucky Broadcasters Association

FLORENCE, Ind. – Soky Sunrise was named Best Morning Show in the state tonight at the Kentucky Broadcasters Association Excellence in Broadcasting Awards at the Belterra Resort.

The finalist in the television morning show category was WKYT in Lexington.

The Soky Sunrise team includes producer Morgan Reagle, director Megan Baxter, host Tej Joshi, morning news anchor Candace Price, meteorologist Kristy Steward and a team of production assistants.

WNKY was named finalist in the Best Evening Newscast and Best Sportscast. The winner in those categories was WKYT.

WNKY’s Cody Bailey was finalist for Best Weathercast. The winner in that category was Kevin Harned of WAVE in Louisville.
