SOKY Fair opens July 24

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you’re looking for something fun to do with the perfect weather, be sure to head to the SOKY Fairgrounds this week for the 67th annual SOKY Fair.

Gates are now open for this year’s fair, which includes fun rides and games, as well as different races at the track.

Tonight features arena cross racing, with oval track, figure 8 and demolition derbies to come.

There will also be different 4H shows and events in the Ag Center featuring dogs, sheep, alpacas and more.

The fair is all about one thing above all:

“Family fun, safe fun, great environment. Come on out, the proceeds and the profits of the Southern Kentucky Fair. We fund five scholarships at Western Kentucky University,” Jim Maroney, president of the SOKY Fair Board, says.

Tickets are $15 and include admission to the track and unlimited rides.
