Softball announces six to 2025 signing class

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Softball announced the signing of six athletes on Monday with Braylen Conlon, Lauren Satterly, Madeline Floyd, Amaya Green, Lauren Campisano, and Jozie Lashley arriving at the Hill in the fall of 2025.

“It is an exciting day to announce the signing of this class. We are adding talent and depth to all positions while strengthening our offense. We look forward to adding this skilled group of young women to our team,” said WKU Softball Head Coach, Amy Tudor.

Braylen Conlon is a left handed pitcher from Iowa City, Iowa from Xavier High School. She holds the single season record for strikeouts and is the all time school leader in strikeouts. Her junior season she posted 323 strikeouts in 179 innings pitched while
producing a batting average of .471 with six homeruns. Conlon was a two sport athlete in both softball and track, earning multiple All State accolades and was the Mississippi Valley Conference Player of the Year and Metro Player of the Year in her junior season.

“Braylen is a talented left-handed pitcher who will strengthen our pitching staff,” said Tudor. “She is a competitor who can get swings and misses, change speeds and has a great mindset. She has a great foundation and will only get better.”

Next on the list for the Hilltoppers is Lauren Satterly, a middle infielder from Taylorsville, Kentucky. She was a four year varsity softball player who was a two time All State Second Team member and a two time All Region and All Region Tournament team member.
Satterly also helped her team to multiple district and regional championships as well as state quarterfinalists in addition to winning the 16U PGF Platinum National Championship in 2023.

“Lo was the first commit in this class, and we were excited to land her. She is even keeled, confident, and will provide pop from the left side of the plate. She is versatile and can play multiple positions,” said Tudor.

Madeline Floyd, a right handed catcher from Gallatin, Tennessee, joins the Hilltoppers after a high school career that saw her as a four year varsity member. Her junior year she posted a .465 batting average with 54 RBIs and 12 home runs. She was named an All
State member in 2024 by the Tennessean, as well as All-Mid State and District MVP. She was also named Freshman of the Year by Gallatin News in 2022 and was named to the All District team in 2022 and 2023. Floyd led Liberty Creek High School to a state championship
in 2024 with a slugging percentage of .886 and 12 home runs.

“Floyd is one of the two catchers we have in this class,” Tudor said. “She has a very strong arm who will also provide a powerful bat at the plate. She is a leader who will make our pitching staff better. “

Lauren Campisano, a three sport athlete from Louisville, Kentucky, was a four year varsity member the Assumption High School softball team as well as a four year varsity member of the basketball team. Campisano was also a two year member of the varsity field
hockey team. She was named a member of the 7th Region Junior All Stars her sophomore year and was All 7th Region and Second Team All State her junior year. Lastly, she was also a state semifinalist in softball her junior year.

“Campi is an athlete,” said Tudor. “She attacks balls, runs the bases with purpose, and is a multi-sport athlete. She is a middle infielder who can play both infield and outfield.”

The second catcher in the 2025 signing class is Amaya Green from Athens, Alabama. Green was a four year varsity member of the Athens High School softball team where she was named ASWA 6A First Team All State in 2024 as well as played in the North-South All
Star game. In 2022 she was a ASWA 5A All State Honorable Mention. Green also led her team to a 2024 Class 6A state championship where she posted 11 home runs, 63 RBIs, and a .374 batting average.

“Amaya is an energetic, athletic catcher who also can play outfield. She will bring a powerful bat and an energy that is contagious. She is a hard worker who works with a purpose,” said Tudor.

Rounding out the 2025 signing class is Jozie Lashley, a right handed hitter, but left handed outfielder, from Buckner, Kentucky. Lashley was a five year member of the Oldham County High School softball team and a two year varsity member of the volleyball team.
In 2024, she posted a .465 batting average, a .950 slugging percentage, collected 47 hits, 11 home runs, 34 RBIs, and 23 stolen bases. Lashley was All State Honorable Mention in 2023 and 2024 as well as All 8th Region Team. She was also named to the All 8th
Region and District 29 All Tournament teams. In 2024, she earned the Crown Trophy Female Athlete of the month and was selected for the Kentucky East-West All Star game.

“Jozie is the lone true outfielder in this class. She throws left and hits right. She swings the bat with a purpose and covers lots of ground in the outfield,” Tudor said. “She will provide more power to our line-up.”
