Smiths Grove woman facing drug possession charge, served warrant

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Smiths Grove woman is facing a drug possession charge.

The Glasgow Police Department responded to a call to T.J. Samson Community Hospital to a subject with an active warrant.

An officer located Carrie S. Davis, 42, of Smiths Grove, at the hospital.

Davis had an active warrant, and police say she had a baggie of methamphetamine in her possession.

Davis was arrested and is charged with first-degree possession control substance, third or greater offense (methamphetamine). Officers served David with a warrant.

Davis is lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.
