Smiths Grove man, Glasgow woman arrested on drug related charges

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man and woman are facing drug related charges after a traffic stop in Glasgow.
On Tuesday, May 3 around 12:35 a.m., a Glasgow Police Department sergeant did a traffic stop on McKenna Street and received consent to search.
According to police, officers located syringes, methamphetamine, hydrocodone and ecstasy.
Allison M. Bray, 38, of Glasgow, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (greater than or equal to two gms methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (hydrocodone), possession of a controlled substance, second degree, drug unspecified and possession drug paraphernalia.
John F. Adwell, 57, of Smiths Grove was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, second offense (methamphetamine).
Both Bray and Adwell were lodged in Barren County Detention Center.
