Small Business Accelerator set to open in former Save-A-Lot on College Street in 2024
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The newest addition to the Shake Rag district is taking the place of the former Save-A-Lot building.
A Small Business Accelerator will open up shop in 2024, set to help businesses in the district that were affected by the tornadoes get back on their feet.
Med Center Health is set to open up a wellness center, with retail, a salon, a restaurant and a bakery coming as well.
The Housing Authority of Bowling Green has worked with the City Commission for a while to bring this plan to fruition, and director Abraham Williams is excited to see the finished product.
“It is, I’m excited and it’s a dream come true especially for this community. This community has always had a whole lot of pride with it and we just bring the pride to this community, to the Shake Rag community and the city of Bowling Green,” he says.
The new business accelerator is set to open between May and June of 2024 in the old Save-A-Lot building on College Street.
