SKYCTC celebrates excellence in Allied Health Programs at Annual Awards Ceremony

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College is honoring outstanding students in its Allied Health programs for their achievements and leadership.

According to a release by SKYCTC, on April 18, the college hosted its annual Allied Health Award Ceremony to celebrate 16 students.

In addition, SKYCTC says four dedicated professional mentors from regional healthcare facilities were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the programs.

Award recipients were honored in the following categories:

Academic Excellence

Recognizing students who achieved the highest program GPA

  • Medical Lab Tech – Robert Salinas, Warren Co.
  • Radiography – Natalie Barrett, Barren Co.
  • Respiratory – Allison Meeks, Edmonson Co.
  • Surgical Technology – Naomi Richards, Warren Co.

Clinical Excellence

Recognizing students with the highest level of clinical proficiency

  • Medical Lab Tech – Haleigh Wyatt, Warren Co.
  • Radiography – Emma Robertson, Warren Co.
