SKY Soccer Age 13 Girls Team Prepares for Midwest Regional Presidents Cup

Bowling Green, KY. – Over at the SKY Soccer Complex, the age 13 girls’ team is gearing up for the Midwest Regional Presidents Cup in Cincinnati later this week.

The team is coming off an impressive tournament performance winning the Presidents Cup for Kentucky. The girls came alive in tournament play, going 5-0, and outscoring their opponents 18-4, according to head coach JaBree Jones.

If the team can get the tournament win in Cincinnati, they will then have a chance to play in Wichita at the national stage.

“It’s been a real fun year. They were kind of down themselves earlier then they got through the fall season. We’re very competitive. Come tournament time, they really turned it on. It’s been a fun run. It’s been a fun ride for these girls,” Jones said when asked about the season so far.
