Sinkhole located near I-65 south in Simpson County

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Authorities say a sinkhole has opened up in Simpson County along Interstate 65 southbound.

Kentucky State Police public affairs officer trooper Katan Parker says the sinkhole was located Tuesday at the 3-mile marker southbound.

He says traffic is not impacted during this time.

Parker says the sinkhole is off of the right side of the roadway. News 40 will provide additional details as they become available.
