Simpson County roadway project begins, traffic impacts expected

SIMPSON COUNTY – A Simpson County roadway project is set to begin.

According to a social media post, Simpson County Public Works will begin work on a culvert replacement on Hack Brown Road starting April 7.

Simpson County Public Works Director Bobby Groves says a 1/2 mil of culvert will be installed from the Northwest intersection of Reeder School Road between 1890 and 2033 Hack Brown Road.

The project is expected to take three weeks to complete, according to the post.

Residents should expect heavy equipment to be present on roadways during the project.
