Shamrock Sprint benefitting Kentucky Kids on the Block rescheduled to June 14

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Next month, local kids can support a great cause while getting their steps in.
On June 14, the annual Shamrock Spring will take place in downtown Franklin, benefitting Kentucky Kids on the Block programs in Simpson County. The event was previously rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Kids on the Block, a nonprofit organization, aims to educate children and prevent child abuse through the use of puppetry. More is available about the nonprofit here.
The free kids run is presented by German American Bank.
The race schedule includes the following:
- Onsite Registration/Runner Check In: 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Kids on the Block Puppet Program: 7:30 a.m.
- First race begins at 8 a.m.
- Awards will be immediately following each.
