Shake Rag Barber Shop holds a Labor Day festival for the community

BOWLING GREEN Ky.-The Shake Rag Barber Shop in Bowling Green held a festival Monday to show appreciation for the community.

The festival featured corn hole, a bounce house and a cookout.

Several public officials came out to have some fun too, including Bowling Green City Commissioner Dana Beasley Brown and State Rep. Steve Sheldon.

Sheldon said he’s glad to see the barber shop putting on the event for the community.

“To be able to come down today and do life with these guys is fun, and it gets all the Shake Rag District together. There’s a lot of great people here, so I enjoy being here for that,” Sheldon said.

The festival was spearheaded by Shake Rag Barber Chris Page and State Farm Insurance agent D.C. Clement.
