Several city changes expected in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green is on the cusp of significant transformation with a major water mitigation project and new sidewalks set to enhance the city.
The Bowling Green Public Works Department is moving forward with these initiatives, thanks to support from the Kentucky Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Award. The first phase of this project is awaiting approval from the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday night.
Andy Souza, director of Bowling Green Public Works, outlined the challenges they might encounter, noting the presence of numerous trees, utilities, signal poles and storm drains that must be carefully navigated. Ensuring that these elements are not disrupted will require meticulous planning and execution.
