BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a chance to show some love to patients at Norton Children’s this Valentine’s Day.

Norton Children’s says it is collecting online cards, which will be given to patients at Norton Children’s Hospital, Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Norton Children’s Medical Center and Novak Center for Children’s Health.

Norton Children’s serves patients across Kentucky and southern Indiana.

Starting Jan. 28 through Feb. 9, anyone in Kentucky, southern Indiana and beyond can pick a Valentine’s greeting at NortonChildrens.com/Valentine. There are several different Valentine’s Day cards with messages on the front and fun children’s activities on the back.

The valentines will be printed and hand-delivered to patients at random Feb. 13, according to Norton Children’s.

In addition, anyone can purchase a stuffed animal through SendAFriend. These animals will also be distributed to patients at random, the hospital says. In honor of American Heart Month, 10% from each purchase will be donated to the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation to support patients and staff at Norton Children’s Heart Institute.

Last year, Norton Children’s says it received over 3,500 valentines and more than 1,000 stuffed animals from 35 states.
