Senator Rand Paul holds information fair at Western Kentucky University

Senator Rand Paul hosted a U.S. Service Academy Information Fair Thursday night inside the Western Kentucky University Knicely Center.  

The event, attended by more than 100 people, provided interested students and parents with an opportunity to learn more about the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine Academies. Representatives from each were on hand to answer questions. 

Senator Paul has hosted the annual event since he was elected to Congress in 2010 and says it’s important to get to know the leaders of tomorrow.

"It’s an exciting time for these young people," said Paul. These are the people who have gotten good grades in school and the leaders who want to be in our military."
