Semi-truck crash closes portion of I-65 South, drivers injured

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A two tractor-trailer crash caused lane closures on Interstate 65 south on Thursday morning.
According to a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 social media post, a tractor-trailer crash at the 25-mile marker closed one lane.
Kentucky State Police public affairs officer Trooper Katan Parker says two tractor-trailers were involved in the crash at 1:23 a.m. One was hauling eggs.
The drivers were entrapped following the crash.
One driver was transported to Med Center in Bowling Green for treatment of injuries, and the second driver was transported to Tristar Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green.
Parker says the right lane will be closed for two hours.
KYTC says motorists should expect slowed or stopped traffic beginning north at Exit 26.
