Semi-truck crash closes I-65 north near Upton

HART COUNTY – A semi-truck crash on I-65 Northbound is impacting traffic Thursday morning.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says the crash happened at the 74-mile marker near Upton.

KYTC says the accident clearance could take several hours.

Kentucky State Police Public Affairs Officer Trooper Katan Parkers says two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

One of the drivers of those vehicles sustained minor injuries.

KYTC asks motorists to use a detour near Bonnieville.
