UPDATE: Tractor-trailer rollover impacts traffic in Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – First responders were at the scene of a tractor-trailer rollover Friday morning in Logan County.

According to the Russellville Police Department, officers responded just after 7 a.m. for an injury accident at the intersection of 68 East and the Bypass.

Upon arrival, police say a Martin Trucking tractor-trailer had rolled over into the westbound lane of the intersection when its cargo of large logs spilled into the roadway. This led to both eastbound and westbound lanes being blocked.

The intersection was shut down for roughly two hours.

The Russellville Police Department was assisted by KSP, Logan County EMS, Russellville Fire Department, KY Highway Department, Logan County Jail and Shoemake Towing.
