UPDATE: Section of road in Glasgow reopened following field fire

UPDATE (Approximately 1:30 pm): According to Barren County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Mike Houchens, Love Knob Road in Glasgow is open following a field fire Tuesday afternoon.

GLASGOW, Ky. – The 500 block of Love Knob Road in Glasgow is currently shut down at this time, according to Barren County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Mike Houchens.

Houchens confirmed the road was still blocked around 12:43 p.m.

According to Metcalfe County Emergency Management, multiple units and agencies responded Tuesday afternoon for a large field fire.
