Secretary of State Michael Adams on maintaining integrity during the election

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- The elections are right around the corner, and you may think the possibility of the government’s integrity could be destroyed.

According to the secretary of state, Michael Adams, the government has taken many steps to ensure integrity is maintained during every election.

Secretary Adams says, “Our elections are secure. We have done more to improve election integrity in the last four years than was done in the prior 200 years. We’ve gotten rid of electronic voting machines. We’ve gone universally to paper ballots. So we have the speed of a quick count through optical scanners, but also the security of a paper trail. We’ve required a photo ID to vote. That’s new. That’s something pushed through in 2020.”

The Secretary assures us that he and his team have done everything possible. They are shifting voting procedures in many different ways to guarantee integrity during this election and to reduce the loss of credibility.
