Search leads to drug bust at Allen County residence

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Two people are facing drug charges after a search at an Allen County residence.

The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force says it worked with the Scottsville Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office to execute a search warrant Wednesday at the residence of Billy D. Patterson, 45, and Heather D. Clark, 43, of Scottsville, Kentucky.

Authorities say Patterson had two active bench warrants for traffic violations.

According to the crime task force, agents located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and other items of drug paraphernalia.

Patterson and Clark are charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Patterson is also charged with persistent felony offender.

Both were transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
