Scottsville woman charged with drug trafficking near school
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville woman is facing multiple charges, including trafficking drugs near a school.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, police conducted a traffic stop Saturday around 9:48 a.m. for a traffic related offense.
The driver was identified as 40-year-old Heather L. McPeak of Scottsville.
Police say McPeak was driving on a suspended license and was under the influence.
During a vehicle search, authorities say they located suspected cocaine and hydrocodone tablets.
McPeak was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
She faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, fourth or greater offense, driving on a DUI suspended license, third offense (aggravated circumstances), first-degree possession controlled substance, second offense (cocaine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (hydrocodone), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (less than 4 grams of cocaine), trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense.
