Scottsville woman charged with drug possession following traffic stop

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville woman is charged with drug possession following a traffic stop.

The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force says detectives initiated a traffic stop of Kimberly K. Dedman, 49 of Scottsville, on Tuesday.

Detectives say during the investigation, 4.2 grams of methamphetamine were found in Dedman’s possession.

Dedman is charged with failure to wear a seatbelt, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree – methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dedman is lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
