Scottsville woman charged with drug offenses after traffic stop

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville woman is charged with drug-related offenses following a traffic stop.
The Scottsville Police Department says it initiated a traffic stop on Nov. 14 on a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Tina Cox of Scottsville for a traffic offense.
Through an investigation, authorities say they located methamphetamine.
Cox was transported to the Allen County Detention Center, where police say a body scanner revealed more methamphetamine in her possession.
Cox was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, first-degree promoting contraband and no registration plates.
