Scottsville police warn public of counterfeit bill scam

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A counterfeit money scam is present in Scottsville.

According to the Scottsville Police Department, counterfeit bills are being passed in the community.

“For motion picture use only” is printed on the bills.

The department asks businesses and individuals in the community who have been victims of the scam to contact the department by phone at 270.237.3611
