Scottsville police respond to man attempting to put woman in car trunk, both face drug charges

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Two people are facing drug charges in Scottsville.
According to a release, the Scottsville Police Department responded to Casey’s gas station, located on New Gallatin Road, to reports of a man putting a woman into the trunk of a car on Feb. 10.
SPD says the male suspect is 47-year-old Michael P. Lyon of Illinois.
During the investigation, officers say methamphetamine and paraphernalia were discovered.
Lyon was arrested and is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.
SPD says a co-defendant, 44-year-old Brandy L. Ozuna, of Wisconsin, was also arrested and is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance – 2nd offense – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were lodged at the Allen County Jail.
