Scottsville mayor announces retirement

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky.- The mayor of Scottsville is leaving his position.

According to a letter sent to city officials on October 9, Mayor Rob Cline announced he would be retiring on October 14 at 6 p.m.

The letter ends by Cline writing “it has been a great honor for me to have served as your Mayor.”

According to City Clerk Gayle Davis, Cline decided to retire citing health issues.

A city commission meeting will be held Monday night to choose Cline’s successor.

Cline first took office in January 2003.
