Scottsville man charged with unlawful transaction with minor

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing charges related to a minor allegedly smoking a device containing THC.
According to a uniform citation, a Scottsville Police Department officer observed 31-year-old Christopher Henson of Scottsville driving carelessly on Thursday evening.
Police say Henson crossed the center line and failed to give a signal within 100 feet of turning right.
Authorities say a traffic stop was conducted on Landmark Drive, and they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Upon a vehicle search, authorities say they located three partially smoked marijuana cigarettes and drug paraphernalia.
Police say upon speaking with a female minor in the vehicle, she stated she had smoked from the THC devices.
Henson was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
He is charged with careless driving, second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and failure to or improper signal.
