Scottsville man charged with promoting human trafficking

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing charges involving alleged attempted human trafficking activity.
According to a release by the Scottsville Police Department, officers responded Wednesday to Dugas Park for a 911 call regarding an adult male who allegedly spoke to two male juveniles and offered them money in exchange for a sexual favor.
Police say the juveniles fled the scene and found a woman nearby, who they asked to call 911.
Police say they spoke with the caller and received a description of the suspect.
Officers investigated and arrested 66-year-old Randal Osborne of Scottsville. Osborne was charged with promoting human trafficking, victim under 18 years of age.
He was transported to the Allen County Detention Center and remains lodged on a $10,000 cash bond.
