Scottsville man charged with drug possession after traffic stop

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville man is facing charges following a traffic stop on Tuesday.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Macedonia Road.

Deputies say the driver of the vehicle was identified as Christopher Scott, 34, of Scottsville.

Through investigation, deputies say they learned Scott possessed suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Scott was charged with careless driving, operating on a suspended or revoked operators license, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine).

Scott was arrested and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
